What notice is required to obtain a permit?

It depends on the size of the production and what your requirements are.  We can turn permits around very quickly but do recommend giving at least 3 days notice for small size productions.

Do I have to pay for a permit

Yes, the cost varies depending on the size of the production and your requirements. 

What documents are required?

All companies, including student projects must submit a risk assessment and an insurance certificate with at least £10m public liability.

Are drones permitted?

Beachy Head is a unique Site of Specific Scientific Interest with rare wildlife in the area, the use of drones and other powered model aircraft is not permitted under Byelaw.  Please contact Sussex Film Office to discuss other potential locations.
