Anne of Cleves House

This stunning timber-framed medieval house dates back to the 15th century. It was given to Anne of Cleves at the end of her short-lived marriage to Henry VIII – although she never lived there – and is a fantastic location for filming and photography.

15th century timber framed Wealden hall house located in an historic town in the South Downs National Park. The interior has been well preserved and features include authentically furnished rooms, wooden flooring, exposed timber beams, tile roof and a traditional planted Tudor garden.

All filming and photoshoot enquiries are handled by Sussex Film Office.
