Clutter

‘Clutter’ is a short film shot entirely in Sussex, directed by James Card.

On an important anniversary following his husband’s death, a wealthy and successful drag queen spends a night of hedonism to shield himself from the pain of his grief. When his cleaner arrives to the aftermath of this night, she has to confront the pain of her own loss, leading to a confrontation with her employer that will have consequences for both of them.

We worked with the team at Sash Films in January, facilitating a half day’s filming over at the lovely Goring-by-Sea beach.

“Working with Sussex Film Office has been a joy from start to finish. Debi was unbelievably helpful, professional and knowledgeable and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Her support and guidance made the process of securing the location so easy.

The location was absolutely perfect for the shots we needed and we were so, so lucky with the weather, which is always a bonus.”

The production is currently in post-production, with the hopes it will be ready for the film festival circuit.
