Simon prides himself on being able to communicate with anyone from any walk of life, and his easy-going nature is balanced with determination and a strong direction of vision when he works.

Simon is dependable, adaptable, very good at keeping calm under pressure – whether writing, directing or both – skilled at making contributors, cast and crew feel at ease in order to deliver their best work, and is confident shooting anywhere in the
world and working to tight deadlines. Having worked in branded content, features, documentaries and commercials, Simon has extremely strong narrative and editorial skills – at the script stage, while shooting and during the edit – being well-versed in story structure and the need for communicative language that connects with a specific audience.

‘Boogie Man’, a feature film Simon wrote, has won over 50 awards worldwide, and he has directed award-winning short films and documentary for Sky Arts. 

He has also written hundreds of job-winning treatments for high profile commercials directors and household brands around the globe, including Zack Snyder, David Nutter and Anthony Mandler, and from Coca-Cola to Porsche to Dove and beyond, giving him a vast knowledge of the commercials and agency world.
