Fishbourne Roman Palace
Fishbourne Roman Palace is the largest Roman home in Britain and dates back to 75AD.
Fishbourne Roman Palace is rectangular and is surrounded by formal gardens. It has undergone extensive excavation and restoration over the centuries and was discovered in 1805 by workers building on the land. In later years, a museum was erected over the remains and today incorporates must of the visible remains including stucco fragments and intricate mosaics. The gardens were re-planted in the style of the Roman period, thus featuring roses, lilies, rosemary, fruit trees and boxed hedges. A truly authentic and inspiring location for filming and photography!
All filming and photoshoot enquiries are handled by Sussex Film Office.
