I Am Ruth

Sussex Film Office was approached by Me + You Productions in May 2022 as they were filming the highly anticipated Channel 4 drama I Am Ruth starring Kate Winslet and her daughter Mia Threapleton, and they wanted to film at Bracklesham Bay beach. Although it was quite a last minute request, as ever, we were up for the challenge and were able to confirm a permit to film on the beach for a couple of hours going into sunset on 13th May. The scene involved a small crew with handheld equipment filming a short scene with Ruth (Kate) walking along the seafront. Check out the trailer!
