Military Driving Experience Site

Ex-military driving experience site situated on approximately 450 acres of farmland with small patches of woodland, a pond, outbuildings, and the remains of an airfield with much of the concrete runway still intact. The site’s main track is approximately 2.5 km around set across arable land. Their machines include:

– Fv432 tracked armoured personnel carrier: Approximately 15 tons, in service with the British army from 1962-present (with variations), Rolls Royce engine k60 multi fuel, max speed 32mph.

– Alvis stalwart 6 wheel drive: Approximately 9 tons, in service with the British army from 1962-1993, converted to a Perkins diesel.

Facilities on site include a café, toilets, heated undercover seating areas, heated training rooms, hard standing, parking for approximately 50 vehicles, and wheelchair access.
