Owned by the South Downs National Park Authority, this Country Park without doubt has to be one of the most beautiful locations in the country, and is often chosen as a backdrop for filming and photoshoots. Whether it be cliffs, beaches, different landscapes, the meandering Cuckmere River or farmland required as a setting, this location has it all.
An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as being a Site of Special Scientific Interest, this is a very stunning and special place. Known as having globally important habitats, it is home to unique and diverse wildlife and marine life as well as rare flora and fauna. It covers over 280 hectares of majestic and iconic white cliffs – with the highest peak standing at 253 feet – which offer spectacular, phenomenal views over a dramatic coastline. People are drawn to the area for all this as well as its interesting history, shipwrecks, heritage, walks, cycling, trails, wildlife spotting, watersports, and star gazing.
