Sussex Film Office is delighted to announce its new and exclusive partnership with the
historic British Engineerium. Situated in the heart of Hove, this fascinating Victorian location
provided water to Brighton and Hove for over a century before converting to an engineering
and steam power museum. With operational boilers and engines still housed between the
ornate walls of the establishment, this location unites the history of Victorian-gothic
architecture with modern amenities.
Combining the red-brick charm of 1800’s architecture with the photogenic verdant grounds,
host to vast lawns and pond, this location stimulates the long-lost nostalgia of the Industrial
era, all in a clean, photogenic space perfect for filming, set building, and photography.
The location is self-contained with onsite security, an engineer’s house that provides
production offices, and plenty of space in and around the grounds to set up a workspace.
