Saving Lives At Sea Season 10

Saving Lives at Sea is a BBC Two observational documentary series that follows the work of the RNLI as they respond to emergencies on Britain’s waters. The aim of the series is to present an authentic portrayal of the RNLI – Britain’s biggest volunteer emergency service.

As part of this new series, we facilitated filming for Blast! Films in Newhaven, where the crew made a desperate attempt to convince a solo yachtsman that he needs rescuing; when his anchor line snapped, he was at the mercy of the rolling swells and the storm force winds, and his vessel was smashed up on the breakwater. Catch up now on BBC iPlayer!
