Shell

Written and directed by Sam Brain, this is a story about two siblings, thrown together again in the wake of their grandmother’s death. Shell is gender transitioning – but older sister Jess wants everything to stay the same.

We worked with producer Joanna Vymeris back in May when she was scouting the area for filming locations and had a last minute request to film over at the stunning Seven Sisters Country Park. We can turn things around very quickly here at Sussex Film Office so we arranged for the cast and crew to shoot for a few hours over at the park.

With a private screening having taken place, we’re just waiting for it to appear on a screen near us so keep your eyes peeled!
