Cannes Film Festival 2025: Top 5 in the World — And Just Getting Started

This year, we swapped the office for the Croisette as Kelly, our Managing Director, led the Fame Pro and Sussex Film Office team to Cannes for one unforgettable week.

We didn’t take home the top award but we were named one of the Top 5 Best Film Offices in the World, and we’re still pinching ourselves.

From the very start, it felt different.

We stayed on a boat (because why not?), rubbed shoulders with celebrities, and had real, meaningful conversations with producers, fixers, and industry figures from all over the world. We finally met some of the people we’ve worked with for years but had only ever spoken to over Zoom or email. In Cannes, everyone’s in the same place. And that makes all the difference.

The awards night? Let’s just say — we got the biggest cheers of the evening. That energy, that support, reminded us how many people are rooting for what we’re building.

And what we’re building isn’t just a film office. It’s a full production support system one that simplifies location sourcing, connects crews with trusted suppliers, and uses automation to take care of the friction so creativity can flow. We’re doing it differently and it’s working.

Cannes 2025 reminded us that we’re in the right room. That our work is being seen. And that even without a trophy, we’re already winning – thanks to the team, clients, and partners who believe in this mission.

We came back sun-kissed, sleep-deprived, and more fired up than ever.
