The Secret Life of Trees

We’re excited to share that The Secret Life of Trees, a brilliant new nature documentary narrated by Michael Palin, is coming soon!

Partly filmed here in Sussex, this fascinating series follows the incredible lives of trees – from their beginning as tiny seeds through to magnificent giants and into old age.

We were proud to support the team at Voltage TV during their time in Sussex, facilitating filming in Preston Park, where they captured the beautiful Elm Trees in the area!

In Episode 1, you’ll follow the incredible journey of young trees – how they grow, how they survive, and how they adapt. From Italy’s lemon orchards to London’s Kew Gardens, and finally to the golden autumn leaves at Westonbirt. The episode reveals how trees thrive, communicate, and drink.
