Rap Club Productions C.I.C (aka The Spit Game UK) are a non-profit collective supporting young Black creatives into the creative industries in front of and behind the camera, and through music. They are being funded by BBC 1Xtra and BBC Children in Need to create a feature film – led by the voices and talents of young Black creatives – highlighting issues around young Black male vulnerability. ‘Adele’ is a film that follows three boys/young men and their experiences with vulnerability and relationships and stars Adele James (Netflix – Queen Cleopatra) in the titular role. There is a scene on the beach where the boys come together to finally find a release away from the city.

We were approached by The Spit Game UK as they were looking to film their beach scene in Sussex. Their chosen location? The beach down at the iconic Seven Sisters Country Park – a much-loved destination for many a filmmaker! This was to be the only scene shot outside of London, with emphasis on the beauty of the setting and the young men finding a release through nature.

The film is still in the ‘Coming Soon’ stage, so keep your eyes peeled on their website for further information on the release date!
